Ipad- One of the many great and convenient uses of them in the classroom

Apple company has come out with a new app called "mobile mouse." With this app you can control your computer or smart board projection from across the room with your Ipad. You can model writing, show examples and even mark papers and other classwork as they are writing in programs such as google dock.

Personally, I think this app is an amazing concept. It allows teachers to get away from the front of the classroom and allows children to work live on the smart boards for a more collaborative classroom atmosphere.

Another great app that I stumbled upon was "SmartNote." You can use this to send worksheets and lesson outlines to your students. They can then write on them and send them back to the teacher. Students can also record ideas or instructions for later use.

The Ipad is like a computer in the palm of your hands and with thousands of apps to choose from, you can always find an app that contributes to education in some way. I'm excited to see what happens in the future with Ipad apps and education!

  1. I like your ideas of use with the new programs. I can agree with the fact that it gets teachers away from the front of the classroom. I am just a little timid because I'm not sure if it would be a distraction.

  2. I really like the potential that these two apps have very helpful in both teaching and learning and it’s great that people access this technology through their own personal devices. I only wish I had an Ipad now.
